This project involved the addition of a contemporary two-storey pavilion linked to an existing cottage originally built in the 1920’s.
The new addition consists of polished concrete floors, external cedar cladding and a custom designed staircase suspended from the first floor ceiling. Additionally, the original portion of the house underwent a modest restoration.
This project uses solar power to heat it’s floors and produce hot water via photo-voltaic cells positioned on the roof. It was completed in August 2010.
